At Red Line Editing Service, we take pride in providing professional, customized editing and proofreading services. Because our work involves significant time, expertise, and intellectual effort, we have a clear return and refund policy to protect both you and our team.

Non-Refundable Down Payment

A 20% non-refundable down payment is required to confirm your booking and secure your spot in our editing schedule. This down payment covers initial administrative costs, project planning, and time reserved for your work. By submitting your down payment, you acknowledge and agree that this portion is non-refundable under any circumstances.

Revision Guarantee

If you are not satisfied with the completed work, we offer two (2) complimentary round of revisions within 7 calendar days of delivery. To qualify, please provide clear, specific feedback so we can address your concerns accurately and efficiently.

Refund Eligibility for Remaining Balance

The remaining 80% balance may be eligible for a partial refund only in the following situations:

  1. We fail to deliver the edited work within the agreed timeline and no mutually acceptable extension can be arranged.
  2. The delivered work is demonstrably incomplete or does not match the agreed-upon scope, and we are unable to resolve the issue through revisions.

If you believe you qualify for a refund on the remaining balance, you must submit a written request within 7 days of delivery to redlineditingservice@gmail.com. We will review your request and aim to respond within 5 business days.

Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds (full or partial) will not be issued for:

a)     The 20% down payment.

b)     Change of mind after work has begun.

c)     Dissatisfaction due to personal preference if the work matches the scope and instructions provided.

d)     Delays caused by incomplete information, unclear instructions, or lack of timely responses from the client.

Booking Policy

By booking a service with Red Line Editing Service, you agree to the following terms:

  1. Non-Refundable Down Payment
    A 20% non-refundable down payment is required to secure your booking. Work will not begin until this down payment is received and confirmed.
  1. Project Timeline
    Your project will be scheduled once the down payment is made and all required materials (documents, instructions, style guides, etc.) have been received. Delays in providing complete materials may result in an adjusted delivery date.
  1. Balance Payment
    The remaining 80% balance is due upon delivery of the completed work, to be split in milestones depending on the agreed payment plans and package. Full payment must be received before final edited files are released in their entirety.
  1. Revisions
    One (1) round of complimentary revisions is included if requested within 7 calendar days of delivery. Additional revisions may incur an extra fee.
  1. Cancellation
    If you cancel your project after booking, the 20% down payment is non-refundable. Any work already completed beyond the value of the down payment may be billed proportionally.
  1. Acceptance of Terms
    By submitting payment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to our Return & Refund Policy and this Booking Policy
